Dobson: manually chasing airliners!

http://youtube.com/watch?v=dZEQflb2Peo

I made several movies, this is the shortest.

Instrumentation:

OrionXT10 * "*
25mm eyepiece, 48x
* SONY 5.1 MP digital eyepiece annoyed

be noted at the end of shooting the dissolution of the wake of the plane, not a minor cause of haze in the sky and luminescence in the night.

I made this movie without much care, just to test. I have not had big problems to chase even with the 13mm Hyperion.
The movie refers to the night, in poor visibility conditions.

In broad daylight, with people seen in profile, flying at altitudes lower, at 93x, in view, I could distinguish with impressive clarity of details such as windows files or secondary reactor on the tail of the plane or the decorations on the fuselage.

Here is another movie: http://youtube.com/watch?v=AstiYIfVCAM

The filmstrip has been done in the worst way bothering the digital eyepiece of 25 mm provided (as shown blacks from the edges). The magnification is 60x and estimated the apparent field between 35-40 °. The difficulty arises framing

by the fact that the plane was at its zenith, the nseguimetno the first and last part is correct because in approach and moving away from the zenith. With an eye to the eyepiece, the tracking accuracy is imparagonabile.Scusate moments "dead" of the shooting but was not able to cut.

improvement over previous there. I'm training for the next transit of the ISS, to pull off something decent.

I was wondering especially if there is any software that can "draw" a movie like this, in order to obtain a single frame sum. There are special algorithms for occasions like this? For the shuttle and satellites there is something ...

I used a camera attached to a 3.2-MP Hyperion 13 mm so I was about 90-100x. The real problem of tracking is the size of the digital screen (about 1 ") and the reduced field, not to mention the really critical focus.

Meanwhile, I managed to draw with registax a piece of the movie, about 2 - 3 / 2, then I had to reboot the PC, it gives me too many problems. This is the result:

, is not the best but as Start can also go ... any advice?
